And when I talk about these "favorite characters" I'm referring to Simba, Nala, Ariel, Eric, and basically the characters who were almost treated as "obsolete" by disney corporations after they created their children.

When little mermaid and lion king came out, teens and kids loved it. Well, these teens and kids grew up and began having kids of their own, so Disney made their favorite characters have kids as well. It really is quite genius. Having the characters grow up with the fans. The only problem they forgot about was that1: Walt Disney DIDN'T want sequels to his movies.2: today's kids and teens are now having to watch movies about their favorite characters getting old much faster than them.
