If one were to, say, visit the forum of a website, but not sign in,provide an e-mail address,can the website track the person`s IP? if so, what else would they find out? would they be able to see what`s on the Pc`s HDD?
also how can one track his/her profile visitors (I`m talking about Myspace, Facebook, Hi5 and so on) if the visitors haven`t signed in, or have setted their privacy to invisible?

Question by : Free Articles Good For Helping Page Ranking And Drive Traffic?
i use www.articlesfactory.com for my blogs and website so i was wondering if it helps with page ranking and driving traffic to your site. Since i put them on my site a few days ago my google page rank went from 0/10 to 3/10

I have thought about finding a way to spam to promote my website. It seems like this would b pretty easy. However, if I sent emails directly to people in their email boxes my thought is that they messages would be deleted or end up in the spam folder. I have, however, heard of spamming social networking sites (although I am not sure how one would do that.) Anyway, I just pose this question to you all. If you have any alternative ways to promote a website that are more viable please suggest such, even by personal email if you don’t want your “secret” to get out. Thank you.

Question by David K: How can I find out what is guiding my website visitors searches?
How can I research my web site visitors or prospective ones to find out what seems to be on their minds when they choose this or that keyword or key phrases in their web searches? In other words, is it possible to get some idea of what they really want and what likes or dislikes are guiding them?
